MemphisHouseplants.com Welcomes You Into Our Process!

I just want to say how appreciative I am of the opportunity to be able to start my own business. I want to start first and always by putting customers and artists first. Here's what I'm looking for:

  1. Feedback and engagement. I'm planning on starting a weekly blog, which is an ambitious effort and investment. I don't want to fall into the trap of providing something because I think I should, but rather listen to and value your feedback and needs.
  2. Artists of all kinds of mixed media reach out if you love to create plant focused themes. I love art and helping visibility and access to a market for artists. Message me for more details!
  3. Building a community as much as a brand. I know there are so many people that love houseplants but feel they don't have the skills or abilities. Let me help with that. If I have a gap in knowledge, I'll use that as a learning opportunity. Connecting in the community at outdoor events will be one of our key sales channels.
  4. Let's get weird. It's one of the greatest things about Memphis; we have Southern Charm on one corner and a Castle on another. I'm into a diverse group of interests and one of those are books, tattoos and metalcore in no order. I would love to find some local tattoo shops, salons, coffee shops and bars that would be into some consignment pieces or partnerships for external plant care.

Future News:

I have obtained all my legal LLC information and have designed some merch for the shop with more coming soon.

I have found a plant supplier that has great reviews and sustainable practices. I'm currently working to get my wholesale status approved with them so I can list their products in my store.

I'm working on my Private Selection and should have 2-3 Monstera Plants that I have rooted from my lovely mother plant. I will also be listing around 10 Pothos from my Private Selection in that same period with eyes on some other mother plants producing in the next few weeks!
